This October, the Vermont Burlesque Festival is proud to host its annual Charity Auction, a heartwarming effort to support breast cancer research right here in Vermont and to assist someone in financial need currently battling breast cancer.
How You Can Help
We're calling on the community to lend a hand by donating an item to the auction. Whether it's something unique from your home, your business, or your garage, every donation can help make a difference. The sky’s the limit on what you can contribute – it could be:
A bicycle
A corset
A piece of artwork
A vintage blender
A service like a massage or a photography session
No item is too big or too small. Whether it’s new, used, or tucked away in a closet, it can become a valuable auction item that raises money for an important cause.
How to Donate
Donating is easy! All you need to do is:
Take a photo of your item.
Draft a description for it.
Estimate the value of your item and shipping costs.
Upload everything to this link.
The Festival staff will assist with the process once the item is donated. If someone bids on your item, you’ll only need to pack it up and ship it – we’ll be with you every step of the way.
Important Dates to Remember
Donations are open until October 15.
The auction goes live on October 1 and runs until November 1 (end of day).
Every bid, every item, and every donation contributes to changing lives. Not only will you be supporting breast cancer research, but you’ll also be directly helping someone in need during their battle with breast cancer.
